Meridian Insurance only pays claims out of what the community puts in. If you've got surplus aUEC sitting around, sending some over keeps the fund alive for the next player whose cargo got eaten by an elevator.

How to send

1In the game, press F1 to open your mobiGlas.
2Open the Wallet app.
3Use the search field to find MIC-App-01, then enter an amount and click Send. Any amount helps — even 50,000 aUEC covers a small claim.

Heads up: Star Citizen charges a 0.5% transfer fee on player-to-player transactions. You pay the amount you send plus that fee.

Transparency

100% of donations go to the fund. No one takes a cut. Every aUEC sent to MIC-App-01 is used to pay verified claims.
Every claim is verified. Fraudulent or unverifiable claims are rejected. Your contribution only covers legitimate bug losses.
No real money involved. MIC only handles virtual in-game currency (aUEC). We'll never ask for real-world donations.
